GRAPEVINE WINE BROKERS

Domaine des Victoires

Domaine des Victoires is based in Brinay, France, with a rich family history spanning four generations. Philippe Portier took over the family business in 1985 and, six years later, established his own wine estate in the Quincy Appellation. With over 20 hectares of vineyards, Portier carefully crafts three distinct cuvées that showcase the unique qualities of the Quinçois terroir. The Domaine cuvée embodies the generosity of Quincy wines, while the Quincyte and Jean-Maxime cuvées highlight the finesse of Sauvignon Blanc on its favored terroir. In 2013, Portier expanded his ventures to the Reuilly Appellation, where he found the clay-limestone terroir he had been seeking. Here, he planted Sauvignon Blanc and later added Pinot Noir, creating the Domaine des Victoires. Combining tradition and modernity, Portier vinifies his wines in an old restored Berrichonne farm. He maintains a strong focus on producing high-quality wines that express the typicity of his estate. Through rigorous yield control and selection of the finest grapes, Portier ensures optimal harvest conditions. Vinification takes place at controlled temperatures to enhance the aromatic potential of the grapes. Aging occurs under constant monitoring and the wines develop richness and balance through a succession of lees stirring. In 2019, Domaine des Victoires received HVE3 certification (High Environmental Value Level 3), highlighting their commitment to sustainable production and environmental practices. This certification recognizes their dedication to good environmental and health practices in the daily management of the farm, further emphasizing their focus on quality and sustainable viticulture.
