Domaine Vendange is a family-owned winery established in 2015, located in the Combe de Savoie region, nestled at the foothills of the Massif des Bauges in France. With a total of 10 hectares of vineyards on south-facing slopes, the estate thrives in the St Pierre d’Albigny terroir, specifically in the hamlet of Miolanet.
The Vendange family has passed down their winemaking expertise through generations, with Albert, Claude, and now Benjamin at the helm. The focus of the domaine is to satisfy customers by guaranteeing high-quality plants.
The vineyards benefit from young soils formed by glacial moraine, creating distinct terroirs within the Miolanet parcels, ranging from limestone to scree and silty clay. The southern exposure and favorable climate contribute to the expression of terroir and optimal grape maturity.
Domaine Vendange practices integrated agriculture, employing techniques such as green harvesting, hand-harvesting, and employing modern temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks in their vat house. Their winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention to showcase the authentic features of their terroir and native grape varieties.
